WATERFORD SOCIETY IS A PRIVATE COLLECTION CRAFTED BY WATERFORD CRYSTAL AND MADE EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARTER {circa 1994} MEMBERS OF THE WATERFORD SOCIETY. I ORIGINALLY PURCHASED THESE NEW IN THE YEAR THEY WERE ISSUED.
All these pieces are in New Condition in their original box*. {*no box for 1996 Heirloom Pitcher}
Made in Ireland, they were only available to members of the Waterford Society during the yeat of issue and features fine, heavy - weight sparkling clear hand cut crystal. They have the trademark green and gold Seahorse tag plus the acid - etched Waterford mark as well as the Waterford Society mark plus year of issue on the base.
The majority of the pieces have been hand signed in my presents by a Waterford designer visiting the U.S. during the year each piece was issued.

If you were a member of the Waterford Society then you know these pieces were only offered to Society members who received a written reservation form to be signed and returned within 30 days for each handcrafted piece they wished to purchase. The reservations for numbered pieces were limited to members calling in by phone on a first call-in bases usuallt the day a member received the reservation in the mail. Reservations were never offered to the public. These pieces were made at the old factory in Ireland, which is now closed !
